my Computer (inside, compatibility)

About two years ago (Oct 2008), I bought my first laptop. It means, my first laptop using my own money. It was very delightful moment. Before those time, I had borrowed my mother’s laptop, to finish my study. I was a linux user.

Because of some reason (probably also my friends’ influence), I chose mac as my next computer. In my mind, it is cool (and then also known as a very unimportant reason), unix-like (because I was familiar to linux), and can help me to reduce -or eliminate- use of pirated softwares (later, I also knew that there is no relationship between mac and pirate-free. Because it is very easy to find a pirated software for mac! But fortunately, the spirit itself was enough for met to keep being “legal”).

I bought an Aluminium MacBook 2,4 GHz, which is their first Aluminium Macbook, also their last. It was expensive for my -honestly-, but it was worth enough. I could finally own a MacBook. And I felt that I was one of that cool people (again, an unimportant reason).

Inspiring India

India.

Previously, there was nothing special about this country to me.

I knew India when I was child, when I saw Mahabharata, an epic from India on television. I also realized that there were so many Indian movies (with special characteristic: music and dance) in television. When I joined boyscout, I also knew that India is used to symbolize letter I on phonetic alphabet. I also studied some famous name from India such as Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.

But still, there was nothing special from those things to me.

Mathematics and Electrical Engineering

So long time not to come here.

Here, I have found a tall wall to climb. In every phase of our life, we always find a wall to climb. Even we really know that wall well, but we will still find a tall wall.

And my “wall” now is called: Mathematics.

Probably it is a strange thing for me. Because in my thought, I really understand mathematics. Since I was a student in elementary school until I was an undergraduate student in University, I really love mathematics. Even, I can enjoy every single second of solving the problems.

But now, I really realized that Mathematics is a very difficult matter. It is very complex, especially in application.

(to) read : look at and understand something written or printed (taken from Oxford Dictionary, 2000)

Probably, reading is an activity that we are familiar most. Everyday we read. We read books, journals, notes, magazines, newspapers, or everything printed or shown as letters.

Reading is one of my favorite activity. When I was child, I learn how to read from my mother. She loves reading very much. She reads everything, from a popular novel to a complicated text book. Maybe because of her passion, I was also interested in reading.

Welcome

Welcome to this new page.

Maybe this page has changed several times. But hopefully, this is the last form of this page. Last time, I used the template from iWeb of MacOS to fill this page. But I think, it is not comfortable for me to see a dark page like that. Finally, I come back to wordpress with this simple design.

I will try to share everything here. I mean, I will stop the update of my another blogs for a while. In this page, hopefully I can also share contents in the lectures that I take this semester. I will try to rewrite it in my language. Of course, I will still write about my daily life here. It is a part of this page too.

Why I use english in this page? I just try to train myself to write in english. Maybe this is still far away from “a good english” or “a scientific english”. But as I said before, I will train myself through this page. Hopefully, by the time, my english could be better.

Why I move to this page? It is simply because of the domain. My another blogs, using blogspot and wordpress, has limited amount of storage. Especially for blogspot, the amount of storage is shared with another differential account from google (gmail, picasa, etc). So that it is easier for me to manage the data here.

Why I don’t use a public domain like .com or .info? It is just simply because of the domain also. I want to take a part to be the active user of ugm.ac.id. Just it.

So, hopefully this will be a good starting. Welcome to this page.
